On Saturday 19th September Stratstone Harrogate MINI were the proud sponsors of 'GREASE' the drive in movie at Harewood House.
The Team at Stratstone were of course delighted to take part in this fun, family event, and for the opportunity to get dressed up as T-Birds and Pink Ladies.
800 cars attended the event at Harewood House, first to arrive were our convoy of MINI's....see the photo's below. Pete Edwards who presents mornings on Stray FM, joined the lead car in the convoy as it headed to Harewood.
On display at the event were the recently launched 50th birthday models, the Camden and the Mayfair, along with the MINI Clubman and the new MINI Convertible.
The evening was hosted by Stray FM, who played requests, music from the movie, and competitions throughout the evening, including best dressed Sandy and Danny. There was also the opportunity to win a MINI Cooper for the weekend, the winner of which will be announced on Stray FM this forthcoming week.

In the spirit of the event we 'dressed up' our MINI Convertible and MINI Cooper demonstrators with orange flames and bolts of lightening reminicent of the T-Birds and Scorpions cars!
The convoy arrived to the cheers and the beeping of horns from all of the other 'Grease' enthusiats attending the event.
